Native resolution is the maximum resolution of an image from which you'll understand how many MP your camera really has. And it is 6000 × 4000 for Canon EOS M5. This resolution is different for Canon EOS M5 Image and for Canon EOS M5 Video. Another important feature is the aspect ratio. It refers to the ratio of image’s width to height and matters when it comes to framing of your picture for better image. Aspect ratio for Canon EOS M5 is 3:2.
